Pics and info for:
Nissan Elgrand (E51 series)
Released in 2002 the E51 Elgrand instantly became one of Japan's most popular people movers, the roomy interior with luxury options, power features and a look way too stylish for a mere van, the E51 well deserves its fame.
The unique front styling and headlights make for an aerodynamic shape and two engine variants are available, the larger being a 3.5L VQ35DE engine with 177kW (240hp), this engine being a detuned variant of the high output VQ35DE variants found in the V35 Skyline and 350Z. There is also a 2.5L VQ25DE version with 137kW (185hp) that gets better fuel economy. Available are both a RWD and 4WD option with 5 speed tiptronic auto. The Elgrand is a luxurious 5 door with twin sliding doors and a rear opening tail gate (there is also a rarer single sliding door version) with seating for 7 or 8 people with extremely versatile seating arrangements possible.
