Nissan Elgrand E51

customer feedback

2004 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 MR

Just thought I'd let you know I got the car last thursday and haven't stopped driving it since. Such a fun car and immaculate. Had a few friends ask if it's actually a new car.

Thank-you so much Ben for your hard work and effort, It didn't matter how long it took just the quality of the car I got at the end was so very much worth it and the amount of time you put into it far exceeds what I paid and the whole process was so easy.

Thanks again Ben, very much appreciated.

Pics and info for:

Nissan Elgrand (E51 series)

Released in 2002 the E51 Elgrand instantly became one of Japan's most popular people movers, the roomy interior with luxury options, power features and a look way too stylish for a mere van, the E51 well deserves its fame.

The unique front styling and headlights make for an aerodynamic shape and two engine variants are available, the larger being a 3.5L VQ35DE engine with 177kW (240hp), this engine being a detuned variant of the high output VQ35DE variants found in the V35 Skyline and 350Z. There is also a 2.5L VQ25DE version with 137kW (185hp) that gets better fuel economy. Available are both a RWD and 4WD option with 5 speed tiptronic auto. The Elgrand is a luxurious 5 door with twin sliding doors and a rear opening tail gate (there is also a rarer single sliding door version) with seating for 7 or 8 people with extremely versatile seating arrangements possible.

Standard or optional features include:

ABS brakes Electronic Brake Distribution
Dual airbags Leather interior
Dual sunroofs 8 inch front display screen and 9 inch rear screen with remote control
steering wheel mounted controls Dual zone climate control
Single or dual power sliding doors Smart key (meaning you only need the key in your pocket to open doors or start the car).
Heated seats Captain's chairs
Wood grain interior trim Xenon headlights
8 speaker BOSE sound system with optional 9th subwoofer Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) which alters the headlight pattern while cornering
Reversing camera, side camera and up to 4 cameras on later models Power curtains
Radar cruise control Stability control

Elgrands can have a variety of options so although a feature might not be standard on a particular model they may none the less be quite common, and indeed lower spec models can be optioned to a higher degree of luxury than a basic higher spec model.
