Nissan Skyline V35

customer feedback

2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 Tommi Makinen Edition

I took possession of the car today and I am thrilled to say the least.

The car is a fine example of an evo 6.5 and really turns heads. Its tastefully and professionally modified and didnt need much work to bring it up to its former glory. The car is something else on the high boost setting, making some serious power.

All up the whole process cost a total of around $(price removed). We were very close to the mark on that one.

Thanks for your help throughout the process, it was worth it, I have ended up with a great car and what seems like a very reliable and fast one at that.

Pics and info for:

Nissan Skyline (V35 series)

In 2001 the Skyline underwent a major change for the first time in over a decade. The RB series engine which had served Skylines since the R31 was finally replaced with the modern VQ series of V6 engines. The Skyline was based on Nissan's FM chassis platform and was designed for sale in the US as the Infiniti G35. As such, as well as sports car performance the V35 had to meet high refinement and luxury criteria to wear the Infiniti badge, Nissan's up market brand name.

Available in coupe and sedan variants (coupe production only started in 2003), standard and optional features include:

  • 17, 18 or 19 inch wheels
  • ABS brakes
  • Dual, quad or six airbags
  • Active headrests
  • Electric front seats
  • Dual zone climate control
  • BOSE Premium sounds system
  • Parking cameras
  • Stability and traction control
  • Leather interior
  • Heated seats
  • Xenon headlights
  • LSD
  • Sunroof
  • Brembo brakes
  • Factory TV/display monitor
  • CD stacker
  • Air purifier/ionizer

The coupe is very similar to a 350Z in terms of chassis and engine, and was available in 6 speed manual or tiptronic auto. The sedan was available in 6 speed manual, tiptronic auto or 8 speed continuously variable transmission (CVT) with paddle shift controls.

The coupe came with 3,500cc 208kW (280hp) engine only, the sedan featured the 3,500cc engine, 3,000cc engine with 191kW (260hp), or 2,500cc engine with 159kW (215hp).
