G'day Ben,

Just letting you know I've had the GT Four on the road for a few months now and absolutely loving it, it's such an effortless smooth comfortable car, perfect for touring. I've done a few little bits and pieces and it's now quite the head turner. Thanks for everything.

Toyota Chaser and Mark II (JZX100 series)

The JZX100 chassis type ran from 1996 to 2001 and was available as two different cars, the Chaser and the Mark II. Each car is identical mechanically; different headlights, tail lights and slight interior trim changes are the only real differences between the models.

Importable models feature the 2,500cc turbo 1JZ-GTE engine, now with VVT-i and a single turbo, the improved torque of the variable valve timing eliminating the need for the twin turbo setup from the previous model. Power is the Japanese maximum 208kW (280hp). Available in automatic or 5 speed manual transmission, standard features include ABS brakes, quad airbags, traction control, climate control, auto swing air vents and keyless entry.

A facelift took place in late 1998 but only minor changes were implemented such as different tail lights, interior trim options, different front grille, the steering wheel became 3 spoke, and the interior gauges were now illuminated in orange.
