Hey Ben,
I wanted to let you know that I have recieved the Skyline on Tuesday, I am amazed at how good the condition is and in general how fantastic it is.
My old car which was on its last legs, broke down at the end of last week, so it was very fortunate everything was ready to go with the Skyline just in time.
So thank you very much for your work in getting the car to me, i cant tell you have happy I am to finally have it here and driving.

Honda Civic Type R EK9

The EK9 Civic Type R is one of the most iconic sports cars from Japan in the 90's whose influence can still be seen today in Honda's lineup and Japanese car culture in general. Based on an EK shape Honda Civic, the Type R is more than just a base car with a hotted up engine (though it certainly has that!) with attention made to improve handling and chassis dynamics. The Type R was seam welded to improve chassis rigidity, had some weight reduction, stiffer sway bars and struts, and a helical LSD. Weight is a mere 1,070kg.

The B16B engine is a 1.6L naturally aspirated unit producing 182hp / 136kW... that's an incredible 114hp per litre! The engine produces this power via a hand ported head and uses VTEC to switch between low and high rpm cams allowing power production right up to the impressive 8,400rpm readline, sent to the front wheels via a close ration 5 speed manual gearbox. Other Type R features include red carpets and door trims with red Recaro seats, a Momo airbag steering wheel and titanium shift knob, plus different body styling.

MODEL LINEUP

Only the Type R version is eligible for import in the EK series Civic, there is also a slightly rarer Type Rx model with optional features such as power windows, keyless entry and climate control offered as standard, plus aluminium pedals and a carbon fibre centre interior panel.
