Got the car from compliance last week and I absolutely love the car. Disregarding the minor dings and scratches, it looks gorgeous. I just cleaned, polished and waxed it today and have attached a picture. Will gladly come to you to import my future R32 GTR, R33 GTR or R34 GTT!

Volkswagen Scirocco

The Scirocco is the sporty alternative to the Golf in VW's hot hatch lineup. It's sleek, swooping styling have made it a big hit in other countries and to many it is the true driver's car compared with the Golf thanks to around a 100kg lower weight without the Golf's 4WD system. If the Golf is one of the best looking hatches around then the Scirocco is clearly it's hot younger sister, although based upon the MK5 GTi chassis the Scirocco has a 10cm lower roof, sits lower and has a wider track with low roof line and muscular quarter panels to enhance its tough stance. Although front wheel drive only, combining these features with less weight and VW's Adaptive Chass Control (ACC) with Normal, Sport and Comfort modes to change steering, suspension and throttle response makes for a more nimble and playful chassis.

Importable models feature two turbo 2.0L engine options, for the GT a 154kW powerplant (147kW on 08 - 09 models) or a 195kW power plant for the Scirocco R. Fuel economy is excellent and the power band is large with most torqure available from around 2,000rpm and up. Available transmissions include a 6 speed manual, or a 6 speed automatic DSG (twin clutch) gearbox.
