Toyota Blade Master

customer feedback

2004 Nissan Skyline 350GT Premium 70th

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for making importing my car easy. From finding the car, to inspecting it and giving me the information, to finding a great workshop for me to use, Ben made it a great experience. I ended up with a low km car, that is in great condition, and has a few tasteful mods already done to it, for a great price. I Went to check up on the skyline and its great. I love everything about it and the aftermarket parts are great too. The paint needs a few touch ups which you outlined but nothing major. I am so pleased with your service, it made the entire process so easy, and I am recommending you to anyone I know that wants a Japanese import. I could not be happier and will definitely be using your services again.

Toyota Blade Master

The Blade Master is based on a Toyota Corolla and shares the same sillhouette, but don't be fooled by the comparison. While the Corolla can come with an engine as small as 1.4L, the Blade Master shoehorns a 3.5L V6 engine into the engine bay, turning this into a 206kW / 344Nm powerhouse. This is the same 2GR-FE engine as found in the Toyota Aurion, Lexus ES350, Lexus RX350, Toyota Kluger, RAV4, Tarago/Estima, and many others. Aside from Lotus putting this engine into the Evora, the Blade is easily the smallest of the Toyota lineup to to get this powerplant, and an engine capable of pushing along large vehicles like the Lexus RX350 or Tarago comes alive in such a small vehicle that weights hundreds of kilos less.

Power is to the front wheels via a paddle shifted tiptronic 6 speed auto gearbox, with stability control and traction control (with hill start assist) as standard. As well as the huge power increase the Blade is also improved over the Corolla with a far more luxurious finish including alcantara/suede dashboard and door trims, alcantara seats, a number of luxury features, and performance is also improved with larger brakes and improved sports suspension. The Blade also has different bumper and side skirts, 17 inch wheels, and different headlights and tail lights.

MODEL LINEUP

The base Blade Master model comes standard with 6 speed auto, paddle shifters, alcantara dashboard and doors, stability control, traction control, front and side airbags, brake assist, electronic brake distribution, multi light ceiling illumination, smart key access, push button start and 17 inch wheels as standard. The Blade Master G is the slightly higher spec version with adaptive radar cruise control, alcantara seats, power seats and dual zone climate control.

3.5L V6 variants are importable, 2.4L versions are not.
