Toyota Mark X GRX121 compliance now available

Compliance for the Toyota Mark X (GRX121 chassis type) is now available. The Mark X is a 4 door sedan sharing the engine, drivetrain and some other components with a Lexus GS300 and S180 series Toyota Crown. The car is a slightly cheaper entry into the luxury/performance market and has styling we think many will find agreeable.

Power is 188kW from a 3.0L V6 engine (Toyota's 3GR-FSE) and is mated to a 6 speed tiptronic auto gearbox.

Models eligible for import:

There are lower spec 2.5L versions made, however only the top spec 3.0L version is importable.

Availability:

These were popular cars in Japan so there are plenty still around, as always the challenge is finding one up to our standards and in good condition. Higher spec features that people will no doubt want such as leather will reduce your options quite a bit, and the vast majority have a light beige coloured interior, so the dark grey (or black leather) is much rarer..

Typical pricing:

As of mid 2017 prices for good condition Mark X's are typically in the $10k - $12k mark landed and complied. Many are cheaper but then you're starting to dip into poorer condition or high mileage examples.
