Changes to our service fee

J-Spec is increasing it's service fee (what we charge to import a car for you) from $1,100 to $1,200. I understand this isn't the most welcome of news to customers but please note the following:

• This is the first increase in our service fee in nearly 15 years!
• This results in an increase of roughly just 0.5% on the total price of the average car we import
• Accounting for inflation our service fee in real terms has actually dropped by 50% since J-Spec begain in 1999
• Finally, we are actually the last to hold out amongst our major competitors, who have already increaed their service fee by $100 (or more) earlier this year.
